J & D Embroidery was established in 2000 using a home sewing machine, with an embroidery attachment. 

We were doing garments just for ourselves and family, when we thought about our upcoming home-town event.

Perhaps we could create a design for the event, make four or five tee-shirts to sell to a few of the town merchants to promote the event and to offset the cost of the thread we were going through.

 Well, 80 shirts later, both us and the machine were tired.

After doing that event for two years came 9-11-2001. 

We embroidered some patriotic shirts and then "I Support our Troops" sweatshirts. Well we literally wore off the words "start and stop" from the home machine.

We then knew if we wanted to continue with the embroidery business, it had to be done with commercial machines.

We selected the Tajima line of embroidery equipment because of its Quality and wide range of attachments that allow us to sew in many different mediums.  From hats, to flats, and even tubular items such as sleeves, pant legs and socks.

The reliability of the Tajima equipment however, has proven to be the best of all worlds.

And as they say "The rest is history"
